We cannot learn endurance by reading about it, we cannot learn endurance by watching someone else struggle.
We can only learn endurance by being put into situation that require endurance.
The Reason Why
One of the major topics being discussed is the emerging tolerance of the church. With all the political correctness flooding the airways more and more christians are allowing themselves to be silenced for fear of being called names.
Standing on sound doctrine will always offend but that does not mean we are not suppose to care. The opponents of the gospel of Christ will always try and claim that we are intolerant and haters when the opposite should be true.
Michael Youssef said "When the Church seeks friendship with the world it will begin to die." How does that happen? Well in order to befriend the world one must accept its actions.
Being a Renegade is about doing things a little different. It is about humbling yourself before the LORD and your friends. It is being ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. It is about pursuing a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It is about supporting your home church and its staff. Look at what Proverbs 27:17 says:...
As men, we have this innate desire to be our own ruler. We rely too often on the seen world and equate our success or failure based on opinions of others. In Jeremiah 17:5 the LORD says: "Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from the LORD."
Dr. Jerry Vines: "Down here men walk on God and worship gold, in Heaven men will walk on gold and worship God."
